About Us

The MIMO team is made up of jewellery designers, bespoke retailers, technology entrepreneurs, and tech geniuses. Formed with the belief that there must be a better way to retail bespoke jewellery online, we are on a mission to encourage everyone to try bespoke jewellery online.

MIMO began when our Founder’s brother asked her to help him make a piece of jewelry as a gift for his bride to be at their wedding. Our Founder is a jewellery designer, however the brother did not want this item to be in his sisters ‘signature’ style. The brother knew exactly what he wanted made, including budget and materials, but could not find it in any store, and did not know how to commission an item. Our Founder used her network in the jewellery industry to make the item as described by her brother, and as a result, felt motivated to create a consumer facing site which would bring together multiple makers to pitch for the project.


Our Co-Founders are the oldest of friends, and having both worked independently in emerging digital technologies for retail and mass consumer projects over the last 10 years, have joined forces to create Make It Mine Online.

With support of an esteemed Board of Directors, Make It Mine Online is a venture which aims to positively disrupt jewellery retail, create a new way of retailing jewellery online, and turn jewellery fans into jewellery designers…why not try bespoke?

Lynne Murray



With a background in jewellery design Lynne is a creative entrepreneur who has championed commercial application of emerging technologies for over 10 years, previous clients from the luxury industry include De Beers, Boucheron, Swatch Group, George Jensen and Louis Vuitton. Her distinct portfolio includes her roles as Co-Founder and Non- Executive Director of Holition Augmented Retail, Director of the Digital Anthropology Lab, University of the Arts London, and is an award winning jewellery designer.

Thomas Pomfret



Thomas is the CTO of Mint Digital and has spent the last 10 years building digital products that people love. From large brands to startups, he has helped lead the technology direction of all of Mint’s output. As well as building the internal team, he has also done the same for clients. Originally with a product design background, Thomas loves helping people bring their vision to life with technology.

Jason Holt



CEO of Holts Group, Jason’s background is in jewellery and education. Currently the government’s apprenticeship ambassador for business Jason spends much of his time developing apprenticeships in the UK and championing the jewellery, creative and technology sectors. In 2015 Jason was awarded the honour of Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the New Years Honours List, for services to the jewellery sector and apprenticeships. Founder of Holition, his passion for all things digital, 3D and emerging technologies continues with the bespoke journey of MIMO.

Tim Morgan



Tim is founder of Mint Digital a leading Startup Studio based in London and New York. Through his work with Mint, Tim has helped lots of startups and is Chairman of Deskbeers an investor in Boomf and TRX and a non-Exec Director of TechHub Swansea. Prior to founding Mint, Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young and spent 5 years advising mid-sized companies on mergers and acquisitions £50m-£100m.
